Middle School Trail Blazers: Discover Trails That Challenge and Inspire!
Step out of the classroom and into the wild with O’Toolin Around’s exhilarating Outdoor Adventures program! Designed specifically for curious middle schoolers and their adventurous parents, our program offers a thrilling escape into nature’s wonders, enabling students to explore the breathtaking landscapes of Colorado while learning valuable outdoor skills.
Discover the Great Outdoors! Embark on guided hikes through scenic trails, where the rugged beauty of Colorado unfolds before your eyes. Our expertly led hikes are more than just walks. They are a journey into the heart of nature, filled with educational stops, wildlife observations and discussions about the natural ecosystem. As a retired 18-year science teacher, Mr. O’Toole never misses a moment on his hikes to educate students on nature, camping technology and first aid.
Climb Your First Fourteener. Imagine standing atop one of Colorado’s famed fourteeners, where the view stretches for miles and the sky touches the earth. Our Fourteener Challenge is a rite of passage for many young adventurers, offering a safe and guided experience to conquer these majestic peaks. The sense of achievement is immense, instilling lasting confidence and resilience in our students.
Camp Under the Stars. What’s more magical than a night under the stars? Our camping trips provide a full immersion into outdoor living, from setting up tents to cooking over a campfire. Learn survival skills, enjoy s’mores, and share stories in the glow of the campfire. This is where lifelong memories are made.
Educational and Fun. Each outdoor activity is designed with education in mind. Students learn about geology, ecology and the importance of conservation as they enjoy the great outdoors. Every adventure is not only fun but also enriches the students’ understanding of the world around them.
Safe and Supervised. Safety is our top priority. All activities are conducted under the supervision of experienced and certified instructors, ensuring that every adventure is conducted with the highest standards of safety.
